The Letter
She stared down at the old, crumpled envelope and wondered briefly where it came from. Hardly anyone wrote letters anymore; in fact, the last hand-written letter she received was well over five years ago. She had no clue where the envelope came from or who it belonged to.
Picking up the yellowed envelope, she moved to sit on her neatly made bed and smoothed the envelope as best she could.
